Postsecondary readiness systems (e.g., Texas’ A-F Accountability) are designed to monitor student achievement and inform programming, but these systems can overlook high-ability students. This session will present research on adolescent identity development and postsecondary choice and discuss ways to address college, career, and military readiness for academically-advanced students.
