How can you incorporate courses designed to give ALL students the opportunity to learn, grow, and succeed in advanced coursework into your programming options? One district implemented a new type of programming, the Cambridge International Pathway and Global Perspectives courses to allow its students to slow down and focus on the most essential and relevant concepts. This led to student engagement, collaboration, and problem solving skills at Kingman Unified School District, along with allowing teachers to delve in depth with learning objectives. In the new program, students also experience instructional practices and routines that help them develop critical thinking skills that lay the foundation to success. Join Kingman Unified School District to learn more about how and why they implemented these new courses, engage in activities that demonstrate what a typical classroom looks like, and discover how they are building college and career readiness in their students.
