She was honored to receive the KENS5 ExCEL Award for outstanding teaching in Northside ISD in September of 2015. Roxanne left the classroom in 2016 with the goal of having a larger impact on students. After 5 years in North East ISD as a GT administrator, Roxanne returned to Northside ISD where she currently serves as the District GT Program Coordinator. Roxanne’s interest lies in improving identification practices for gifted programs.
