I earned a BA in Curriculum and Instruction from Houston Christian University, M.Ed in Educational Leadership from University of St. Thomas, and currently working on a doctorate in Ethical Leadership at University of St. Thomas. My dissertation is about teacher's perceptions of effective instructional practices for the continued success of female EL gifted learners in the gifted program. I recently earned a certification in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion from Cornell University.
I am currently teaching gifted and talented 3rd-5th grade economics and business in Spring Branch ISD at The Bendwood School.
