Denise Ahlquist loves to engage people in Shared Inquiry discussions about the great ideas that shape our world. Since 1985, Denise has taught workshops in effective questioning for teachers and volunteers, supported diverse schools implementing inquiry learning, and led thousands of discussions of literature and art around the U.S. and the world. With colleagues at Great Books Foundation, she helps choose thought-provoking readings, develop educational resources, and advocate for everyone’s voice in civil discourse.
