Erinn Wilcots began her career in education after eleven years in the telecommunication industry. The move to education was eagerly embraced, and challenges faced with the knowledge that while she was not in front of a group of students, she had always been teaching in one form or another.



Having served fifteen years as a classroom teacher, Erinn says, "I didn’t choose teaching. Teaching chose me. Becoming a teacher is the best thing I have ever said yes to."



Before becoming an Instructional Specialist, Erinn taught several Social Studies classes including Texas History, World Geography, Introductory Psychology, U.S. Government, Pre-AP World Geography, AP Psychology, and AP US Government and Politics. She thinks Social Studies is a very important part of a person’s education "because everyone needs to know how we function together as a society."



Erinn holds a Bachelor's in Government and Politics, a Master's in Business Administration - Strategic Leadership, Masters in Political Science and a doctorate in Political Science.
