Gregory Reeves is a Gifted Education, Advanced Academics, and English Language Arts Specialist at the Region 17 Education Service Center in Lubbock, Texas. He has spent 29 years in education relishing the opportunity, the pleasure, and the challenge of teaching and studying some of the finest, most gifted, and most creative students and teachers as well as helping the most destitute and struggling. In 1993, Greg earned his master’s degree in English from Texas Tech University. He spent 15 years in the classroom as a Latin and English teacher as well as serving as a campus G/T coordinator and English Department Chairman. Since 2007, Greg has provided customized support and professional development for educators and administrative personnel, helping clients obtain the overarching goal of aligning skills that require more relevance and rigor for all students to achieve academic success. He has served as a master trainer for several Texas state initiatives and is recognized as a leader in gifted education.
