Jason McIntosh

Jason S. McIntosh, Ph.D. is an author, educational consultant, and Gifted Services Coordinator for a local school district in Arizona. After earning his doctorate in Gifted, Talented, and Creative Studies from Purdue University in 2015, he developed a passion for curriculum design specifically for gifted learners and has won the National Association for Gifted Children‘s (NAGC) curriculum award six years in a row. He has published six book chapters, seven curriculum units, and numerous journal articles on such topics as differentiation, curriculum compacting, and techniques for providing professional learning opportunities to teachers of the gifted. Jason is the past president of the Arizona Association for Gifted and Talented (AAGT) and a recipient of the Feldhusen Doctoral Fellowship Award in Gifted Education at Purdue University. Other past projects include working with Dr. Marcia Gentry to identify high-potential Native American youth from the Diné, Lakota, and Ojibwe tribes and volunteering on the Local Arrangements Committee for NAGC._x000D_
