Shirley Fortenbaugh is a Gifted Specialist in Loudoun County, Virginia. She has been teaching for 23 years in public schools. She has a Masters in Gifted Education from Teachers College, Columbia University and a Masters in Math Education Leadership from George Mason University. Shirley works to ensure that all students have opportunities to be challenged and to discover the beauty and wonder of mathematics. Shirley also works as a Kendall Hunt teacher consultant.
